93 Octane was formed in 2002. We wanted to create an environment where strategy, creativity, execution (and a TON of expertise) could come together without the “big agency” bureaucracy.Our staff is lean. You won’t find an “assistant” anyone or a “VP” of anything. Instead, we have a team of seasoned professionals who spend their time actually doing the work, not managing middle men. Our nimble structure allows us to bring in players as necessary (say, a media buyer, for example), without the overhead of a bloated staff.

There’s a civil war going on between the left and right part of John’s brain, and everybody seems to win. Especially clients. His ability to generate brilliant ideas (including our name) with a businessman’s focus on results has been valued by some of the country’s biggest direct response agencies – and clients including AMF Bowling Centers, AmSouthBank, Circuit City, Jacobsen, Nextel, Nordstrom, SnagAJob.com, and Velocity Micro.
Linda Bott / account director
If Linda were meditating, her mantra would be “strategy and execution.” As it turns out, she’s way too busy for that and would rather spend time thinking about how to help our clients develop and execute strategies that help them exceed their marketing goals. Linda’s job is to make sure all projects stay strategically focused and moving smoothly toward implementation. If you ask us (and former clients Reebok, Liberty Mutual, NFL, and Citibank), we think she’s about as close to account service nirvana as one can get.

He regularly uses the words “glorious” and “zany”. He listens to old-school hip-hop. He draws faster than most people can think. He ends all his internal e-mails with “Go TEAM!” And he has a knack for creating brilliant visual and conceptual solutions that move consumers to action. After starting his career working on financial giants Genworth and Capital One, Adam’s fresh, irreverent ideas are moving the needle for clients including AMF Bowling Centers, Liberty Tax Service, Radio Heard Here, Metro Richmond CASA, WorldStrides and more.
